Thirsty in the Oasis! Why are the Special Status Regions still lost?

The Allegory of "Count Dracula", van Helsing & Renfield .

The South west and Northwest regions of Cameroon were put under "Special Status" in December 2019. Apparently, they remain lost!

So, I use here the allegory of Count Dracula, his Slayer van Helsing and Dracula's slave, Renfield, to open the eyes of those who still await manna from heaven!

After Van Helsing , Count Dracula's slayer drives a stake into the heart of the blood-sucking monster, the count's Slave - the subservient Renfield,  is freed ! Or so we believed!

Unfortunately, Renfield doesn't know how to be free.

Has never known!

With the Count now dead, Renfield is even more confused!

So, when Van Helsing calls to him, to remind him that he is now a free Man....and should Take Charge of his life.....

Renfield !!!!

...calls the perplexed Van Helsing...

Lo and behold, only a subdued answer can be heared from the next room....

Master.........

In comes a bewildered, stooping, yet subservient Renfield. Looking for a new Master!!!

Ainsi goes the Special Status Regions of Cameroon.

It seems we have known little else since 1972..............
